Yusuf Elmenayer, CEO and Founder

Yusuf is an Electrical Engineering student at the University of South Florida, where he minors in Community Engaged Homeland Security and Emergency Management and works as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. He founded SCOPE at USF and serves as Founder and CEO of SCOPE USA, Inc., driving the organization's mission to connect student engineers with public safety and community resilience challenges. Yusuf is a FEMA-certified Community Emergency Response Team member and American Red Cross Shelter Heroes certified, reflecting his deep personal commitment to emergency preparedness.

Board Leadership

Matthew Calabresky, Board Director

Matthew is Senior Manager of Financial Security at United Way Suncoast and CEO of nenos, a technology nonprofit. Growing up in rural Ohio, he moved to Tampa in 2017. Matthew is also the Board Secretary of the Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Project Focus Young Professional Advisory Board; he has also previously chaired the Hillsborough County Diversity Advisory Council. He enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Elizabeth Dunn, Board Director

Elizabeth’s professional background bridges business management, program development, and public health. Elizabeth currently serves in several leadership roles at the national and community levels, including Lead of the FEMA National Experiential Learning and Leadership (ELL), Director of the USF Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Refugee and Migrant Women’s Initiative (RAMWI).

Manaal Taimur, Board Director

Manaal is a Electrical Engineering student at the University of South Florida. She serves as Vice President of SCOPE USF, helping lead the organization's student engineering efforts in public safety and community resilience. On campus, she is also actively involved in the Society of Aeronautics and Rocketry, Women in Computer Science and Engineering, and the USF Rowing Club.

Nick Walton, Board Director

Nick, the Executive Director of the Sarah Vande Berg Tennis Foundation, is driven by a deep commitment to creating opportunities for youth and building strong communities through sports. His career has been dedicated to ensuring equal access and opportunities for all, particularly within the world of sports and education. He’s had the privilege of founding a grassroots non-profit that is now provides programs to over 500 students annually across Tampa Bay.
